United States HistoryThis course is designed to introduce relevant concepts of American History. Content will focus on the evolution of American History and the economic, social and political impact this has had on our country and the world. The American History class will begin with 1800’s Westward Expansion and follow historical chronology through the twentieth century and into current events of the 21st century. Students will examine civic duties and responsibilities that will encourage them to become a well informed and involved citizen of the United States. Upon thorough examination students will have a better understanding of themselves and their society to help them make decisions about their future
